Nursery Inspiration, and NO, I'm not announcing anything.

As I was browsing Rate My Space, it occurred to me that I have never posted nursery pictures here.

And I am excessively fond of a good nursery. Despite having four children, I have never had the chance to design a super tricked-out, fancy-pants room for my baby. So, I live vicariously through those who have. (If I ever get another chance, WATCH OUT. That nursery is going to be the most over-the-top kid room you've ever seen.)

Let us begin...

I love the classic wallpaper paired with the hot pink. And I know that Kitty wants a sparkly chandelier her room. She has never said as much, but I instinctively feel it is so.

Speaking of hot pink and chandeliers... Shazam! That is so cute.

Look at that! I love the chandelier. And that canopy is so sweet, although I'm assuming it would have to be removed before the baby was big enough to stand. Kitty would go all Tarzan on that canopy. Very sweet little boy room.

Love pink and blue together. Very cute little banner, and just look at how nice the picture is! Some of the nicest Rate My Space rooms are held back by terrible photography. Good work, Sydney's mom/dad!

I saw that giant safety pin in Pottery Barn's catalog years ago, sometime between having Jane and Kitty. As always, I was determined that we weren't having anymore kids. But when I saw that safety pin, I almost bought it on the spot. It is that freakin' adorable.

I want those hanging pom-pom thingies. I love the drapes and the blue.

And I noticed a strong trend amongst nurseries these days. People love the tree murals. I do too apparently, since I saved all these pictures to my computer.

And isn't this a sweet twin room? I hope I am never in the position to decorate a twin room, but I admit that I love to look at them.

Pink and blue together, sweet little butterflies on the wall, and the fabrics make a charming, serene room.

I also LOVE that one of the girls is named ORLY.

But, that is probably because deep down I am really a teenage boy.

I think I need a grandkid room but I can't decide which one I like the best.

Just have another kid already so you can get decorating!

Oh my gosh, I love the one with the turquoise walls and tree mural and the hot pink rug. That's adorable!!

Violet's nursery (the blue walls with the V above the crib) is one of my faves. So serene!

Those are some pretty nifty nurseries. Someday if you read the pgcy test right, you might need one of those. ;)

Love, love, love the pom poms! I need them in my own room! I wonder if they are lightshades? I wonder if I glued circles of silk all over a chinese lantern if it would look like that?
